Virus

A virus is a small infectious agent that replicates only inside the living cells of other organisms. Viruses can infect all types of life forms, from animals and plants to bacteria and archaea. Viruses depend on the host cells that they infect to reproduce. When found outside of host cells, viruses exist as a protein coat or, sometimes enclosed within a membrane. The capsid encloses either DNA or RNA which codes for the virus elements. Viruses are not a living things, even they seem to be a living organisms as they can be reproduce.
